The BQ24616RGER is a highly integrated switch-mode battery charge management and system power path management device for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery packs. It offers a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V, making it suitable for various applications.This device features a synchronous PWM controller, integrated charge and system power MOSFETs, reverse-blocking protection, and thermal regulation. It supports input currents up to 3A and charge current up to 4.72A, allowing for fast and efficient charging of batteries.The BQ24616RGER also includes programmable charge voltage, charge current, and input current limit via the I2C interface, which provides flexibility for customizing the charging algorithm to meet specific application requirements.
