Its precision temperature-compensated reference and comparator circuit closely monitor the status of VCC, promptly generating an internal power-fail signal and initiating a reset to the active state when an out-of-tolerance condition is detected. This proactive approach effectively safeguards the microprocessor from disruptions caused by an unstable power supply, ensuring uninterrupted performance. Furthermore, when VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition, the chip maintains the reset signals in the active state for a minimum of 250ms, allowing sufficient time for the power supply and processor to stabilize.
