In addition to its surge protection capabilities, the LT4363 also monitors the voltage drop between the SNS and OUT pins to safeguard against overcurrent faults. Its internal amplifier effectively limits the voltage across the current sense resistor to 50mV, providing a reliable defense against overcurrent situations
