Introducing the MIC47100YMME-TR, a high-speed low-dropout (LDO) regulator designed for point-of-load applications that require multiple supply rails to generate a low-voltage, high-current power supply. This regulator is capable of delivering up to 1A of power and is stable with only a 1µF ceramic output capacitor, making it an optimal solution for board-constrained applications. The MIC47100's NMOS output stage offers very low output impedance, allowing for quick response to sudden load changes, making it ideal for powering microprocessors, DSPs, or FPGAs. With minimal quiescent current consumption, the MIC47100 is well-suited for driving core voltages in mobile processors or post-regulating a core DC/DC converter in portable devices.
