The ICL3243EIVZ is a versatile RS-232 transmitter/receiver designed for use in notebook and laptop computers, where low power consumption is a top priority. With a wide operating voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V, this device meets industry standards for RS-232 communication, even at lower voltages.
